Tanaka is a 35-metre phinisi offering adventurous experiences across Indonesia’s many islands. The yacht was built over the course of four years using ironwood and teak, hand-carved to the owner’s specifications. She was crafted by Indonesia’s master boat builders to the highest standards and blessed with the spirit of Jawa.
While Tanaka has sails reminiscent of the traditional phinisi form, she runs on a 280 horsepower engine fueling air-conditioning, hot water supplies, a water maker, laundry facilities and a fully equipped kitchen.
Tanaka’s dedicated crew includes a cruise director and dive instructor, a team of attentive stewards and a chef proficient in both western and local cuisine.
