35 M

Tanaka is a 35-metre phinisi offering adventurous experiences across Indonesia’s many islands. The yacht was built over the course of four years using ironwood and teak, hand-carved to the owner’s specifications. She was crafted by Indonesia’s master boat builders to the highest standards and blessed with the spirit of Jawa.

While Tanaka has sails reminiscent of the traditional phinisi form, she runs on a 280 horsepower engine fueling air-conditioning, hot water supplies, a water maker, laundry facilities and a fully equipped kitchen.

Tanaka’s dedicated crew includes a cruise director and dive instructor, a team of attentive stewards and a chef proficient in both western and local cuisine.

Tanaka features five cabins accommodating up to 15 guests. The master suite is located on the stern and has a double bed and a bunk accommodating a family of four. The other cabins consist of a triple cabin accommodating 3 single beds, two triple cabins accommodating a double and single bed, and one double cabin. All cabins have ensuite bathrooms.

Tanaka is geared towards alfresco living, and outside on the foredeck, there’s a spacious casual dining area that can be shaded with a bimini, as well as an open lounge fitted with beanbags and seating nooks. Inside there’s a saloon and library, while there is also an indoor bar leading to an intimate covered dining area on the aft, and guests can recline on a raised daybed with a cocktail in hand.

Tanaka lends herself to groups of families and friends and is equipped with air-conditioning, daily housekeeping, audio & video entertainment, kayaks, diving and snorkelling equipment. Laundry and massages are available on request.
